Donate/Memorial
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Burt County Museum. Inc., depends on donors like you to keep history alive for thousands of visitors each year.
The Museum is an active institution where we are continually caring for the vast collection entrusted to us, supporting research efforts, welcoming guests of all ages, and developing educational programming. Your donation or memorial allows us to put it where the need is greatest.
Your generous support allows us to keep local history alive!
The Burt County Museum’s mission is to collect, preserve and develop an appreciation of the history of Burt County and artifacts associated with that history, and to educate the public in connection therewith.
Thank you for your support
The Museum was first housed on Tekamah Main Street and in 1985 the Museum was moved to its current location which includes three buildings, historic bridge, and gazebo all nestled in seasonal landscaping.
Each year the Museum welcomes more than 2,300 to our facility, from 28 states outside of Nebraska and from other countries. The Museum also houses a collection of more than 25,000 artifacts, and that collection grows daily. These items hold stories of our ancestors and the work that has made Burt County an amazing county in which to work, live and play! None of this would be possible without our committed and amazing donors JUST LIKE YOU!
The Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity that depends on the generosity of donations to ensure we can continue to deliver high-quality local history programming.
